I'm chef Jose, and I have built my career around a lifelong passion for gastronomy, inherited from my father, who dedicated his life to the kitchen. Inspired by his commitment and craft, I began my culinary education at the ACPP Hospitality School in Lisbon, where I completed a year of structured training that provided a strong technical foundation. Following my studies, I gained professional experience in a variety of international settings, including Portugal, Spain, and the Netherlands. I have had the opportunity to work in several well-regarded restaurants such as La Casa del Bacalao (Lisbon), Cala Bandida (Jávea), Carnaval Café (Jávea), La Vie en Rose (Benidorm), and El Campo, where I developed a refined approach to Mediterranean and modern European cuisine. Today, as a private chef with Denistars, I focus on designing bespoke dining experiences for clients seeking exceptional service in private villas and exclusive settings. My cooking style is rooted in quality ingredients, seasonal products, and elegant simplicity. Each service is tailored with precision and care, combining technique with creativity to offer a personalised and memorable culinary experience.
